Enough

Well, because I am tired of being grossly misunderstood by others, I'm considering no longer posting any more objectionable or controversial content regarding self-defense.

  1. Step 1:
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44).

    Step 2:
"A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished" (Proverbs 27:12).

Try to win over your enemies; use wisdom and turn away from dangerous situations, even hide if you must.

    But consider:
"Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword" (Matthew 26:52).

After 3+ YEARS of discipleship, Peter still carried a weapon. So was Peter disobedient? Or did he err because he used the weapon offensively?

Methinks I will hide from mortal danger rather than face it, but I consider it prudent to spend my time in hiding loading my gun...
